Why this happens

Alendronic acid is a bisphosphonate used for bone strength, and losartan is an ARB used for blood pressure. They work through entirely different pathways in the body and do not interfere with how the other is absorbed, broken down, or removed from the system.

Take your alendronic acid first thing in the morning with a full glass of plain water, at least 30 minutes before any food, drink, or other medicines (including your losartan).
